Who we are
Most residential contractors come up through finish work and add structure later. We came up the other way.
That has consequences you notice as a customer. We quote the load path, not just the beam. We open a test area before pricing a re-side rather than guessing at what's behind it. And when a job turns up something unexpected — which on a house of a certain age it usually does — we handle it ourselves instead of pausing the project while we find somebody who can.
We're not the largest company you'll get a quote from. That's deliberate. The person who assesses your house is involved in building it, and you have one number to call for the whole job.

Credentials
| NJ HIC registration | #13VH06851300 — New Jersey requires home improvement contractors to be registered with the Division of Consumer Affairs. Always ask any contractor for theirs and verify it. |

| Insurance | General liability and workers' compensation. Certificates available on request, and worth requesting from anyone quoting your job. |
| Permits | Pulled in our name on all permitted work. A contractor asking you to pull the permit yourself is asking you to carry their liability. |
| Written contracts | Required in New Jersey for home improvement work over a threshold amount, and standard practice for us regardless of size. |
Coverage
Most of the housing stock here is between 50 and 90 years old — the age at which exteriors start failing in earnest and floor plans start feeling wrong.
